Hello and welcome! I am a proud Stokie, deeply rooted in the world-renowned heritage of Stoke-on-Trent, England. My home is the birthplace of British ceramics and the proud location of the Gladstone Pottery Museum—the iconic home of The Great Pottery Throw Down. Growing up surrounded by these historic bottle kilns, pottery isn't just a craft for me; it’s a lifelong passion that connects me to the generations of master makers who built this city. Today, I combine that traditional spirit with modern experimentation to create unique, functional art.

Obsessed with Clay, Colour, and Glaze Chemistry

I live for the moment a kiln opens. I am fascinated by the tactile nature of raw clay and the transformative science of glaze. My studio practice is driven by a constant obsession with texture and movement—specifically experimenting with advanced techniques like the Frozen Pond effect, layering Amaco Obsidian with Spectrum high-flux glazes to create depths you can get lost in. This curiosity ensures that every piece I create is a one-of-a-kind technical achievement.
